Learn it step by step.
A function remembers the variables from where it was made.
TakeawayInner functions keep their scope.Stuck on a step? Ask Tee without leaving the lesson.
Run it right here.

Prove it in five questions.
What does next() return the third time it runs?
3 of 4 so far. You need 4 of 5 to pass.
Five questions, drawn from a pool of eight.

Who is Tohrr for?
Anyone who wants to learn a developer field properly, from the first topic to real projects. Pick a program, like Frontend, Backend, Python or AI Engineer, and Tee, your tutor, teaches it end to end.
What’s a program?
A whole field, like Frontend or DevOps. Each program is split into tracks, and each track into topics: 8 programs and 937 topics so far. Tracks unlock in order. Finish one, or test out of it, to open the next. You work on one program at a time.
How does Tee teach?
Ask Tee anything from the chat beside every page. He opens the right page, highlights what matters and teaches from there. A growing set of topics have interactive lessons: four to seven short steps, like a diagram, a video or code to try, then a quiz. Pass it to complete the topic and earn XP. Every other topic has a guide, and Tee can teach it too.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Programs start from the fundamentals. JavaScript opens with JavaScript Fundamentals, Python with Python Fundamentals and Frontend with Web Fundamentals & Frontend Basics. Ask Tee whenever something doesn’t click.
Can I skip what I already know?
Yes. Test out of a track by answering a few short questions from it. Pass, and the next track opens. When you sign up, you can also connect GitHub. Tohrr looks at your repos and suggests what you can skip.
What code runs in the browser?
JavaScript and TypeScript. The try-it steps in a lesson run your code in a built-in runner, so there’s nothing to install. Other languages, Python included, don’t run in the browser.
Is this a mobile app?
Tohrr is a web app. Open it in your browser on desktop or mobile.
